Dr Ratnaparkhe has joined the Brandon Clinic as a specialist in Nephrology and Hypertension. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University (Grenada). He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a fellowship in Adult Nephrology at the University of Toronto. He then completed further focused training in Palliative Renal Care, also at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ratnaparkhe is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and is certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He also holds American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Prior to joining the Brandon Clinic, Dr. Ratnaparkhe has practiced in Ottawa and Winnipeg.
Dr. Ratnaparkhe is now accepting referrals for patients with renal concerns, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetic nephropathy, glomerular and interstitial diseases, complex hypertension, kidney stone prevention, renovascular disease, acid-base and electrolyte disorders, and hereditary kidney diseases.
